DOGS HEALTH CANINE MASSAGE THERAPY BANBURY

Clinical Canine Massage

Clinical Canine Massage is a hands-on therapy for physical rehabilitation. It is a form of remedial bodywork, which can address both muscular and joint issues by using a range of therapeutic techniques including the four disciplines of massage. It can provide relief whilst helping to resolve many day to day mobility issues you may see as lameness and limping. It can also help to significantly support Orthopedic conditions such as Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia. This unique type of strong, manipulative massage for dogs requires an extensive knowledge of Canine Anatomy and Physiology, the movement of tissue over tissue, connective tissue release and the mobilization of muscle to help break down scar tissue and promote better range of motion in their joints. Canine massage therapy is suitable for both the young, active and fit dog as well as the older, less mobile dog. In addition to dealing with muscular and orthopedic issues, massage is excellent for preventing injury too. If your dog leads an active working life doing agility, flyball, canicross etc. then canine massage can help to keep your dog injury-free. It is a highly skilled, safe, non-invasive, drug free therapy. I work only with Veterinary Consent offering a full consultation including gait analysis and full palpation to identify any areas of concern. Results can be seen in 1 to 3 sessions.
